I have a Master's Degree in Education and taught in Harford County for 6 years before moving to Arizona, where I taught for 3 years while my husband was in the Marine Corps and stationed at Yuma Proving Ground. We then moved back to Maryland and I stayed home for several years with my own small class, our 4 children: Nathan, Anna, Laura and Matthew. My oldest son graduated from Saint Margaret School and attends John Carroll. My younger three children still attend SMS in grades 4, 6 and 8. SMS has become our extended family over the years. I volunteered here for 11 years and started working part-time at SMS 4 years ago as an Instructional Assistant and daily substitute. I am excited to now be back in the classroom, and am thrilled to have some of my former students again!

The Archdiocesan Theme for this year is: The Year to Lead, "I have called you by name." Isaiah 43:1. That theme is personally relevant to me this year as I truly believe that God has called me by name to return to teaching the children of God here at Saint Margaret School. I feel very blessed to be working in this school community, and I am honored to be teaching your children.

I am originally from the Philadelphia (Bucks County) area, but have now spent more years in Harford County than in my hometown!

I enjoy reading, day trips & days at the pool with my family, watching my kids play their sports, and going out to dinner with family and friends.

MY MISSION is to facilitate the building of a foundation for life-long learning, and a love of learning. I will provide a safe, secure and loving environment to educate and encourage the whole student. I will also work towards helping each student to be and do their best, and towards inspiring them to not only know their faith, but to live it. Our class theme this year is 'Bees' for a few reasons. We will BEE kind, respectful, positive and responsible. We will BEE the Peace, and learn to BEE leaders. We will BEElieve: in ourselves and each other. 1G will BEE a team. We will have a BEEautiful year!
