About Mrs. Ella
Hello! I'm Mrs. Ella.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and have experience supporting learners through both one-on-one tutoring and small-group literacy instruction. I have completed additional training in the Science of Reading through SUNY New Paltz.
I have also received training through the Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI), which has helped deepen my understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional approaches.
My teaching style is grounded in patience, encouragement, and personalized support. I strive to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing new skills, and engaging with reading at their own pace.
I believe reading instruction should be responsive to the individual learner. I work to create lessons that build skills while also encouraging confidence, curiosity, and enjoyment of reading.
