Welcome to Kindergarten!
Meet the Teacher
My name is Sonya Dumont and I am the Kindergarten teacher at St. Monica Catholic School. I am currently in my fourth year teaching kindergarten but have been in the education field for many years. My husband and I live in Three Rivers and are the proud parents of five wonderful children who range in age from 9-18 years. I am excited to be a part of your child's educational journey!

In kindergrten, we learn and experience many new things in theology. We read and hear various stories from both the Old and New Testament that teach us about God's covenants and promises. In addition, we explore and learn the items we see at Mass while also participating in many shared prayer experiences. Kindergarteners will also participate in Catechisis of the Good Shepherd.
