LearnCreate, format and present tables and table data for the current class schedule.
TopicScheduling is one of the most simple but also powerful tools we can use to succeed in our work and personal lives. Create a table of your schedule and fill in the related data. You will also do research in the public US education system. Check out the examples below.
Files1. Create a new Docs named Words-02-Schedule-FirstL (double-click > Copy > Paste) in the class folder in the Drive. 2. Replace FirstL with your First name and the first letter of your Last name. Example: StathiM 3. Secure your document by Share > Advanced > Check “Disable options…” > Save changes > Done4. Add your first name, date in the header’s center. Example: Stathi, 1/2/35. Copy and paste onto your document the Words template.6. Complete the top part of your document.
Work1. Complete the left part of your document.2. Delete drawing from work area 1 and Insert > Table > 6x8.
3. Format the table. Right-click the table > Table properties: align middle and center and color its borders. 4. Top row: Select top row > Right-click > Merge cells. Fill it with 8 small school-related images.5. Second row: copy and paste these 6 headings: Period#, Subject, Teacher, Room#, How am I doing, #US teachers6. Fill in your data with periods 1-6. If you don’t have them all, put N/A. Use 4-5 words on how you are doing.7. On column 6 look below for numbers. You may need to zoom in from the View. I found them on here.
8. Fix: Bold headings, shrink columns to minimum size, center all data, fix typos, each class one line, etc.
9. Specs: The design and work is yours but you need to follow the following guidelines. Fonts need to be Times, size 8 with any font color you want but needs to be readable.
Reflect1. Complete and prepare to share your document. Complete your resume using the sample. Please give me feedback.2. Research: Person: Sophie Wilson or Hardware: CD drive or Software: Java. 3. Make sure the entire project fits on a single page: delete blank lines, reduce the size of images and cells, etc.4. Follow the hints at the bottom of the template and improve your English and overall work.
