I am new to the Mountain Ridge Middle School this year and I am looking forward to being a part of the Ram family.  This is my 24th year teaching overall, all in the Douglas County School District.  I have taught all levels; 1 year of elementary school, this will be my 4th year of middle school, and for the past 19 years I have been at the high school level.  I have spent 21 years as a moderate needs special education teacher and at one time I spent 3 years as an IEP and Assessment Specialist.  

Outside of school I am a huge movie buff.  Love going to the movies.  Like to read Stephen King novels.  Grew up in the KC area and I am a huge KC Chiefs and Royals fan.  I played college football at Doane College and I am currently the Offensive Line Coach at Mountain Vista High School.  I have two kids.  My son is a DCSD graduate and is playing football at Western Colorado, and my daughter is a high school senior this year.  I have been married for 24 years and my wife is a principal at an elementary school in the district.
