This privacy policy describes how the Mr. Consistent mobile application ("the app") handles information.
The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
The Wi-Fi network name (SSID), password and IP address you configure for your Mr. Consistent device.
This information never leaves your phone.
The app requests the following permissions only to provide its core function (connecting to your Mr. Consistent device's Wi-Fi access point):
Location — required by Android to detect and connect to nearby Wi-Fi networks. Your location is not stored, transmitted or shared.
Nearby devices — required on Android 13 and newer to scan for and join Wi-Fi networks.
Wi-Fi / Network state — required to join your device's Wi-Fi access point and load its built-in control panel.
Internet — required only to load the device's local control panel.
When you leave the app, the Wi-Fi connection to your device is automatically released and your phone returns to its normal Wi-Fi or mobile data network.
The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version at the same URL.
