Welcome to Mr. Smith's Class!

Hey there! My name is Bryce Smith, but all my students and teacher friends call me Mr. Smith. I graduated from Iowa State University in Fall 2019 with a degree in Kinesiology & Health and two minors in Health Education and Coaching.

As a teacher, it's my job to do a lot of different things for students:

I challenge myself everyday to be the best teacher and mentor I can be. Between daily reflections on my own decisions and participation in state-wide professional development, I actively reevaluate what it means to be a great educator.

Outside of school, I try to stay busy. My little family consists of my wife Katy, my daughter Genevieve, and our dog Smokey Bear. My hobbies include cooking, hiking, carpentry, and listening to old-school blues.
