• Homework/Classwork: 15%
• Quizzes: 25%
• Tests: 45%
• Semester Exam: 15%

Homework, Quizzes, and Awesome Concept Evaluations (ACE's)

If given the option, you are responsible for determining which homework assignment you will choose to do: MathXL or worksheet. You must complete ONE assignment for each topic and these assignments are due on the day of the quiz.

You have the option of retaking each quiz once, but you must first complete the ACE on MathXL and score 100%. You are limited to 5 attempts and will only have 1 week to complete the ACE assignment. Retakes will be taken during Tribe Time or in the testing center.

The following is an explanation of scores you may see in the gradebook:

• Z: The assignment may still be turned in but is calculated as a zero
• 0: The assignment may not be turned in because the student did not complete the assignment in a timely manner or earned zero credit (students should speak with me regarding extenuating circumstances)
• X: The student is excused from the assignment and it will not affect the grade
