I am back with a new engine mod. This is the MAN D2066 LUH engine series bought to BeamNG.drive
This engine comes with 5 power ratings from 310HP to 420HP, very realistic sounds, realistic torque cuve and proper support for ZF and Voith gearboxes in my Wentward Transmision Pack!
This engine had a lot of thought put into it by me, because the some of the buses where I am (the most common) are MAN 18.310 or 18.320 chassis with this engine in them. Most are coupled with a ZF 604/C, but some (the newer ones) use a Voith DiWA, that I do not know the model of.
Because I have most of my experience in these buses with this engine, I tried to base it off of what I know. I measure my own data of idle RPM, shifting RPM, kickdown RPM and redline RPM and put it into BeamNG for as most realism as possible. I also tried to recreate the sounds as best as possible, which were pretty good too
This engine comes with 5 power ratings, from 310hp to 420hp. The torque curves for each power rating is on the left
This engine is best used with the ZF Ecomat 6HP-604/C gearbox from my Wentward Transmission Pack for maximum realism. I recreated the feel, sounds, and shifting logic as best as I could from the real bus that this engine is used in, almost to a 1:1 recreation (aside from the body)
It can also be used with the Voith DiWA 864.5 gearbox from my transmission pack too. Except this should be used with the 320hp turbo compared to the 310hp turbo that the 604 model uses
