Current Events

I will add each submitted extra credit work as an individual homework grade.

 Follow these steps to research a current event and receive extra credit.

1. Visit a news website and read an article dealing with politics, law, economics, history, culture, religion, or any other social studies-related topic.  You may use any news website as your source, but sites of varying political points of view are included below.

2. Type a one-paragraph summary of the article.  Include with your summary a hyperlink to the article.

3. Write an additional paragraph relating the article to an issue we have discussed in class.

4. Finally, submit your work via the form at the bottom of this page.  Attach your summary using the "Submit" button.

5. Limit one per week.
