Latin Prefixes & Suffixes
Have you noticed that there is a lot of vocabulary in science classes? As you advance in school there will be even more. In an effort to help you with this year's vocabulary as well as give you some tools for future years we will be studying Latin prefixes and suffixes this year. By learning the prefixes and suffixes you can figure out the meaning of a great deal of science terms. Every other week you will receive a list on Monday of ten prefixes/suffixes to study. On Friday of that week you will have a short quiz that will require you to know the prefix/suffix and/or its meaning. Some prefixes/suffixes will be repeated throughout the year. Below are the lists we will be using this year.
