Officially become a student of UTB
Go to Apply@UTB
You will need to upload the online digital receipt / bank in slip / screenshot of payment as part of the online registration.
Please upload a digital receipt according to student category (scholarship / fee paying).
Enter your bank account number*, and upload your bank statement to verify your bank account number. Please ensure that your account is active and not dormant. This account will be used for the purpose of receiving your monthly allowance.
Once all receipts are uploaded, our Registration Team will verify your receipt.
Upon verification, your Step 3: Online Registration process is completed and you will receive an email via your personal email mentioned on Apply@UTB with the following details:
Roll number
Student Email and Password
Moodle and Microsoft Teams (365) account
Student Welfare Survey Link (https://forms.gle/wmgg43hJ3wEkc8zZ9).
Please fill in this survey and provide your welfare profile / status (inclusive for Financial (Underprivileged), Accommodation, Special Needs or Differently-abled, E-learning Access – Data and Laptop, Health/Medical Support, Orphan, International Student).
Reminder on Student Photo on Apply@UTB for UTB Student Virtual Card.
All new students are responsible to submit a proper photo for the UTB Student Virtual Card.
If your photo is not clear or not suitable for UTB Student Virtual Card, your virtual card will not be emailed by the end of Step 4: Orientation.
New students are required to go to the studio to take a passport photo, with a background colour of either white or blue and in high resolution.
An email from utb.idcards@staff.utb.edu.bn will be sent out to students who need to submit a proper photo for UTB Student Virtual Card.
Please reply to the above email to re-submit softcopy of your photo.
After Online Registration is completed, please send the following documents to Staff & Student Centre (SSC) from Monday 4 July 2022 – Thursday 14 July 2022.
Hardcopy Acceptance Letter / Form
Hardcopy of Bank Account Number page (for intending Brunei Government Scholarship Students only).
On Thursday 14 July 2022, An array of exhibitions and activities awaits all new students as prepared by UTB Student Representative Council 2022/2023.
CCA Exhibitions - All new students are encouraged to view and register for their chosen CCA club.

An opportunity to lead Ikrar Pelajar for Orientation Week 2022.
Any students who are interested in leading ‘Ikrar Pelajar’ during Vice Chancellor’s Address on Monday 18 July 2022 can register via the link provided below. Please come for the screening process on Thursday 14 July 2022 at (Lecture Theatre 4) (1.30 – 4.00 pm)

Volunteer Programme
This is a yearly orientation programme for all new students to take part. The Volunteer Programme aims to encourage all students of the University to reach out to our local community in need. UTB Student Affairs and MPPUTB are organising an exciting programme which allows all students to participate according to respective venues. Your $5 donation will be used for purchasing materials required for the programme.
The committee has arranged a number of venues for the programme. There will be a quota for every venue.
More information and updates will be provided throughout the Orientation period and via MPPUTB Instagram (@mpputb).
You may register online for one venue (either Friday 22 July 2022 or Saturday 23 July 2022) via:
VP Registration Link for New Intake will be shared during the Orientation Week.
VP Registration Period: 18 July 2022 – 19 July 2022.
Once you have volunteered, you will receive an email which includes your UTB Virtual Student Card.
This UTB Virtual Student Card will be needed for the Module Registration during the period: Monday 18 July 2022 – Saturday 23 July 2022 (1 weeks).
Note: (*) Any student whom require assistance in Opening Bank Account may go to any of the following banks: BIBD, TAIB, SCB and Baiduri Bank.
