“10th Anniversary” National Motorcycle Relay - 2018 In support of the Military Police Fund for Blind Children

2018 Registration Rates

Every charity event has a cost of doing business. Ours is no different. Over the years we have wrestled in finding the right mixture of what to charge/collect for the privilege of partaking in our event. Below is our formula and system currently in place. This provided you with two options:

1. You can pay for your own Registration Fees (This is a cost and no charity receipt can be given)

2. You can collect sponsorships to offset the Fees (These can be issued a charity receipt for $20 and more)

Registration Info:

There are three types of registration:

  • National:

Applies to any Rider departing from either Victoria, BC or Yellowknife, NT, and riding all the way to Gander, NL

  • Provincial / Territorial:

Applies to any rider not riding nationally but riding in one or more Provinces / Territories. The Rider must register and pay for each Province they are riding in if they are riding in more than one Province. Province / Territory registrations are further divided by each individual Province / Territory with different registration amounts. Please ensure you circle the correct registration for your circumstance.

  • Daily:

Applies to each day you ride if you are not already registered in the Province / Territory or Nationally. Also, Daily registrations can be combined with Provincial registrations if you are riding in all of one province and then one day into another Province. For example, if you ride all of BC, and continue through to Edmonton, you would register as a BC Provincial Rider and a Daily Rider for the ride into Edmonton.

There are two registration options for each type of registration (pay the registration fee or raise the donation/sponsor amount).

Note that Tax Receipts can only be issued for donations, and not fees. If you raise donations, you must fill out the Pledge Sheet.

Note:

Registration Fees will not be issued a Tax Receipt. However, anyone who donates $20 or more towards a rider/passenger will be be issued a Tax Receipt if requested.

Important Points prior to On-Line Registration

  1. At this time we can only accept On-Line Registration if you are paying for your Registration Fees. We are working with Canada Helps to set up our page to collect both the Registration Fees and Donation Fees, but as of today we can not register you with donation fees.
  2. The On-Line Registration link will take you to our Registration Page working with Canada Helps. Please be aware that if you choose this method of registering then there is a 4.5 % Admin Fee collected by Canada Helps for their administration of this sponsorship page. Sorry this is something we can not work around and is the price of using such a service.
  3. Should you wish to still register for the ride without worrying about such a fee you are welcome to do so by contacting Lamont French directly (lamontfrench@shaw.ca) and we will register you old school and give that 4.5% to the children.
