Professor Amy Jackson is the Director of Instruction and Outreach, the library liaison to the Performing Arts departments, and media librarian at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has previously held positions of Performing Arts & Digital Arts Librarian, Digital Initiatives Librarian, and Metadata Technician. Her research focuses on library outreach to creative practitioners, and metadata for digital content. She earned her Master's degree in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Master’s degree in Music from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
