MakerSpace

In light of the looming state budget cuts, BSD has chosen to suspend Maker Nights for the summer due to the added costs of keeping the building open and cooled. We look forward to resuming and expanding these offerings in the fall. Check back here as we get closer.

Every Wednesday, from 2:30-6:30, students have access to our design and fabrication space to complete or extend classwork, work on personal projects, or collaborate with a team to bring an idea to market. Coupled with 'BSD Maker Night', our labs are open for 7 hours beyond the school day - that's like two weeks of class in one evening!

BSD Community Maker Night

Brandywine School District Community Maker Night happens Wednesdays from 6:30 - 9:30 in the state of the art engineering design lab at Mount Pleasant High School. Learn and utilize our modern collaborative development tools, rapid prototyping equipment, as well as traditional and CNC machinery. Come hang out with other artisans, fabbers and geeks. Work on individual or group projects. Students under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
