Introduction

I am K Islam, the eldest son of Dr. Delwar Hossain and Shawkat Ara Begum, and I am compelled to expose the horrific crimes my family has endured under the terror of Awami League MP and Jute Minister, Golam Dastagir Gazi. Despite living in the USA and supporting my family since 2000, I have watched helplessly as Gazi and his network of terrorists exploited my mother’s severe schizophrenia and my siblings’ disabilities to seize our family’s property in Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh. My mother was manipulated, threatened, and tortured—forced to sign away everything we owned under the guise of deceit and violence.

This is not just corruption; it is a calculated, barbaric act of terror and exploitation. My father, Dr. Delwar Hossain, a retired academic from Birmingham University, and our entire family have endured tremendous pain and loss because of Gazi’s crimes. The trauma inflicted upon us is deep and irreparable, and the terror continues as we seek justice. Our story must be heard, and urgent action is needed to hold Gazi and his terrorists accountable for their crimes.

Victims:

• Shawkat Ara Begum: Age 76 years old, residing at Block-D, Road #9, Banani, Dhaka-1213, Bangladesh, Shawkat has battled schizophrenia and intense hallucinations for over two decades. These hallucinations often manifest as “JINNS” controlling her actions, significantly impacting her mental health. Over time, she developed hearing loss and limited mobility, exacerbating her vulnerability. Exploited by MP Golam Dastagir Gazi and his terrorists, her condition was manipulated to unlawfully seize her property. She endured severe psychological torture and multiple strokes during captivity, leading to lasting physical impairment. Shawkat succumbed to her injuries post-release, highlighting the need for immediate legal action against the perpetrators.

• Children - Saad and Tina: During a visit to Dhaka to see their mother, Saad and Tina were forcibly confined and terrorized in their home by MP Gazi's terror network. Both suffering from mental health conditions—schizophrenia and autism—they faced extreme psychological abuse that preyed on their vulnerabilities. This period of captivity has left deep psychological scars.

• Current Situation: After enduring prolonged trauma, Saad and Tina are currently receiving medical treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Raglan House in Birmingham, UK. The care they receive is crucial for their recovery from the extensive abuse inflicted by Gazi’s terrorists.

The trauma and injuries inflicted upon Shawkat Ara Begum during captivity ultimately led to her demise, following the forced expropriation of her assets. This grave abuse of her human rights demands urgent legal redress and accountability. 

Perpetrator:

• MP Golam Dastagir Gazi: Our next-door neighbor, who exploited the vulnerability of my family to orchestrate a series of crimes including theft, kidnapping, and torture. 

Background and Incidents:

1. ·The Plot: MP Golam Dastagir Gazi targeted my mother's property in Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh due to its value and her incapacitated mental state. Over 30 years ago, he acquired land adjacent to that owned by her younger sister. Aware of my mother's precarious mental health, he plotted to seize her portion of the land by any means, aiming to consolidate his holdings into one large property..

2.  Exploitation and Fraud: Aware of her mental health challenges and her delusions involving jinns, these criminals, including Jahangir, her home security supervisor, and Hafez Mustaq, a Munshi claiming to be the "king of jinns" and a "spiritual leader," targeted her daily. They conjured up fictitious problems and promised supernatural solutions, manipulating her into selling her property. Other accomplices like Atik, Imran Rumana, Abdul Momen Lily (the nephew of City Bank Chairman Din Mohammad), and Nadia helped facilitate the sale of her home to Gazi. In return for their collusion, Gazi generously rewarded these terrorists, giving his office managers Anwar and Salauddin one crore taka each.

3.  Psychological Manipulation and Financial Exploitation by Terrorists:
   MP Golam Dastagir Gazi and his associates, notably Hafez Mustaq and Jahangir, exploited the vulnerabilities of Shawkat Ara Begum and her children.Engaging in a calculated campaign of terror, Gazi's terrorists, under the guise of supernatural entities, bombarded their home in Banani, Dhaka, with stones/bricks at night and kidnapped the children to forcibly extract property transfers and compliance from Shawkat. This relentless psychological warfare, combined with extortionate financial demands, not only shattered the family's stability but also led to dire health consequences for Shawkat, including stroke, underscoring the ruthless extent of their exploitation.

4.  Coercion and Threats: MP Gazi’s terrorist, including Hafez Mustaq, Mohammed Mujib, Abdul Monayem from The City Bank(Local Bank), and others, coerced her into signing blank checks and power of attorney documents, telling her she could cancel them anytime by simply burning the copies. The terror group coerced her into signing off all documents and transferring her property to MP Golam Dastagir. They also forcibly involved my sister, who suffers from schizophrenia, in these transactions. They exploited her mental illness, knowing she lacked the capacity to understand or contest their actions.These accomplices of MP Golam Dastagir Gazi created a distribution list for the funds that they coerced my mother into signing over, while she was held captive.

5. ·Kidnapping: In a barbaric twist, they would periodically remove my siblings to another location, claiming that "Jinns" sent by my father or uncle had taken them. They then coerced her into signing blanks checks or paying ransom to supposedly retrieve her children from these criminals.

6. Financial Drain and Fraudulent Property Transactions: Once Gazi had taken control of the property, he moved her to an Apartment purchased at an inflated price using a fraudulent document that overstated the square footage. His lawyer failed to register the apartment, swindling over TK35 lakh Taka under the guise of property registration fees. After relocating her, they manipulated her into withdrawing large sums from her bank account under duress, pretending that “jinns” were holding her children hostage. This systematic draining of her funds was facilitated by Gazi's associates, who emptied her bank accounts within a year, as evidenced by the attached NCC Bank statements. 

7. MP Golam Dastagir Gazi’s terrorists regularly abducted my sibling, coercing my mother into withdrawing vast sums—from 50 lakh to 1 crore taka at a time—under the false pretext that supernatural forces demanded it. This harrowing extortion, systematically executed by Mustak, Jahangir, Monem Lilly, and their gang, rapidly drained 15 crore taka from her bank accounts, all within a year, as verified by NCC Bank statements. This grim scenario forced my mother into a state of constant fear and compliance, a chilling reality captured in a video documenting her distress.

8. ·Judicial Manipulation and Guardianship Violations: While MP Golam Dastagir Gazi held my mother, Shawkat Ara Begum, hostage, he employed his terrorist and terrorist connections to undermine legal protections meant to safeguard her. By using his influence, Gazi orchestrated a campaign to bribe and manipulate the judiciary, resulting in the cancellation of my mother’s guardianship. This nefarious act was strategically executed to facilitate the illegal transfer and theft of her property, effectively stripping her of her rights and any defenses she might have had under the law. This abuse of power highlights a grave corruption within the judicial system, where my mother’s guardianship was compromised, not through legal failings alone but through coerced corruption and intimidation tactics employed by Gazi and his associates.

9.  Our Family Home was Surrounded by MP Gazi’s Terrorist and we were Denied Access to My Mother in Dhaka: MP Golam Dastagir Gazi’s terrorist have not only surrounded our house but also imposed a terrifying regime of surveillance and threats, preventing us from aiding my vulnerable mother and sibling, who were being held hostage at our home. Their ultimate goal is to forcefully steal our property. Even attempts by my father, uncle, and me to contest this illegal theft were met with stark death threats. These threats became starkly personal when Gazi's enforcers came to my uncle’s house, where they threatened to kill me if I attempted to intervene, demanding my immediate departure from the country. This encounter, which I secretly recorded, highlights the extreme lengths Gazi will go to maintain his control."

Criminal Actions by MP Golam Dastagir and His Terrorist:

MP Golam Dastagir and his gangs not only stole her property but also swindled every penny from her, terrorizing and torturing them throughout the ordeal.

Forced Financial Transfers by MP Golam Dastagir Gazi's Criminal Network:

MP Golam Dastagir and his terrorist forced my mother to sign hundreds of blank and legal documents, compelling her to hand over all her funds amounting to 32.75 crore  taka. Furthermore, they held my sibling hostage until my mother accompanied the criminals to the bank or personally withdrew all the funds from the NCC bank account. She withdrew almost one crore every month, and sometimes more, for the criminals associated with Golam Dastagir Gazi.

 I have attached below the distribution list of my mother's money and NCC bank statements, which they coerced her to sign.

Gazi's Militia and Terrorist Network: Arrest Warrants and Enforcement Failures:

Despite clear directives from the judiciary, only a few of the 20-30 terrorists involved with MP Golam Dastagir Gazi have had arrest warrants issued, exposing the deep corruption within the judiciary and police department. Many officials have accepted bribes, choosing to ignore their duty to enforce the law. Even those who have been issued arrest warrants continue to roam freely with impunity, as the police have failed to take any action, effectively turning a blind eye. 

We urgently seek support from the public to help locate and bring these terrorists associated with MP Golam Dastagir Gazi to justice.

This complaint highlights the appalling inaction of law enforcement and the brazen behavior of terrorists who persist in their threats and criminal activities against my family. Despite the arrest of MP Golam Dastagir Gazi, his terrorist associates remain at large, freely issuing threats and engaging in criminal behavior. The systemic corruption within the police force, influenced by Gazi’s network, has failed to hold these criminals accountable, allowing the terror against my family to continue unchecked.

Urgent Call for Action: 

The dire situation demands swift and decisive action from the authorities to arrest and prosecute these terrorists without delay. Law enforcement's ongoing negligence and the visible collusion necessitate a transparent and effective response to restore public trust in the legal system and ensure the safety and rights of the victims.

Immediate Needs:

• Investigation and Prosecution: Immediate and thorough investigation into MP Golam Dastagir Gazi and his associates, followed by their prosecution for the grave crimes committed.

• Recovery of Stolen Assets: Swift recovery of all assets illicitly taken, including property and funds, to rectify the financial injustices suffered by my family.

• Compensation for Damages: Adequate compensation for the extreme physical and psychological harm inflicted on my family, reflecting the severity of their suffering.

The ongoing violations and the lack of action against such egregious crimes underscore an urgent need for intervention. This legal appeal calls for prompt actions to address these grave injustices and to protect other vulnerable individuals from similar exploitation. It is crucial that the authorities act now to dismantle this network of terror and provide justice for those egregiously wronged.
