Improv for Elders

Explore Motion, Movement, Sound and Play as we explore theatre exercises to keep seniors bodies moving, minds active, and spirit full of delight and laughs. Class will include a holistic warm up that will involve the body, breath, movement and sound. There will be a series of Improv Games, ending with a closing circle for reflection, connection and celebrations.

This is a wonderful experience that combines the power of the performing arts with health and wellness so that your seniors will be thriving, active, and full of life. You can schedule a one time class, a bi-weekly class, or two bi-monthly classes.

Movements and Motions Facilitator

Axé has been in the fields of dance, performing arts, and education for over 20 years. As a seasoned dancer and wellness practitioner, it has been through her life experiences that she has had the privilege of teaching thousands of people young and older how to feel safe expressing themselves, create awareness in the body, mind and spirit to feel the light and love that exists in life. After traveling for the past couple of years, she is thrilled to have landed in The Bay Area with a desire to serve our elder communities through Movements and Motions.
