Mountains and Valleys

Origami models folded by Brandon Wong

Hello!

My name is Brandon and I am a folder from California. I have been folding since I was about 6 years old, when my friend showed me how to make a "fortune teller" in class. Since then I have been folding better and better models, and started designing my own stuff when I was about 11 years old. This site has most of the models I've designed and folded. I hope to inspire young folders and create models others can fold too!

Mountains and Valleys

Mountain folds and valley folds are the two types of folds that make up all origami models, kind of like how computers are made of ones and zeroes. It's not the square paper or the lack of cuts and glue that defines origami from a piece of paper, but the presence of folds. Even the cherry tree here, all its petals and woody texture, is made of nothing but mountains and valleys.
