Wilberforce Roundabout is a major traffic hub located in the western part of Freetown, Sierra Leone. This roundabout connects several important roads that lead to key communities across the city.
One of the main roads branching off the roundabout is Motor Road, a vital artery that runs through the Wilberforce area and links up with Congo Cross and the central business districts of Freetown. Main Motor Road is well-known for housing educational institutions, local businesses, and a popular community-based organizations known as the Motor Road Family.
Immediately after entering Motor Road from the roundabout, the first drive on the right where Sky Vision College is at the junction, leads into a quieter, residential-access lane known as No. 5 Off Main Motor Road Wilberforce. This is where the Motor Road Family Organization is situated—a community-focused entity known for its grassroots outreach and social impact initiatives. The opening ceremony of the Motor Road Football League was a vibrant and spirited event that set the stage for an exciting tournament. Held at the community field.the ceremony featured colorful performances, including comedy and music that celebrated the community’s culture and love for football.
Mr. David Mansaray, a prominent figure in the community, had the honor of officially kicking off the event.
