I want to control a Yaskawa motoman gp7 robot arm with ROS. For that I am following this tutorial on how to install the necessary software on the arm's controller. In my case the GP7 has a YRC1000 with a Standard Pendant.

Maybe you guys know how to solve my problem. 

With motoplus i want to write an application that can read a text document. 

This text document contains information that needs to be transformed to a position variable and several bytes.

But if i look in the manual, there is no standard motoplus funtion for opening a text document. 

Furthermore, from the standaard C libary "stdio.h" there are only a few functions availabe. 

But Fopen and Fclose aren't one of them.

Alarm 1020 - 1 means that there is more than one executable file present on your controller (.OUT file).

Delete all .OUT files in motoplus menu in maintenance mode except the one you want to execte.

When I compile my motoplus program for FS100 i get the errormessage "ccppc.exe: environment variable "WIND_BASE" not defined".

Same program for DX100 or DX200 works OK. It seems that the env. variable "WIND_BASE" not defined during install. I can define it manual but what value should it have ?
