If you want a complete valve set to restore power and reliability in an older Ezgo gas cart, choose MOTO1988 Exhaust; if you need a precision-engineered seal to stop oil leaks on modern Kawasaki engines, choose Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket. These two parts serve fundamentally different roles in the world of small engine maintenance, and confusing them could leave your machine running poorly or not at all. As an ATV owner who has seen too many carts stall out from old valves and lawnmowers leak oil onto the grass, I know that picking the right component is the difference between a quick fix and a total teardown.
• MOTO1988 Exhaust: The biggest strength is its robust 21-4 steel construction designed for high heat and corrosion resistance in older 295cc–350cc Fuji-Robin engines; the trade-off is that it is a specific replacement set that only works on 1992–2002 Ezgo models.
• Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket: The standout feature is its direct fit compatibility with a wide range of modern Kawasaki series (FA130D through FR651V) ensuring a perfect seal against pressure; the limitation is that it is a single gasket unit rather than a full rebuild kit.
• Who each pick is for: Choose the MOTO1988 set if you are restoring a vintage golf cart or utility vehicle with a Fuji-Robin engine, while the Tufgo gasket is essential for owners maintaining commercial-grade mowers or generators powered by newer Kawasaki engines.
This product is built for the person sitting in front of an aging Ezgo cart from the early 1990s or 2000s, staring at a 295cc or 350cc Fuji-Robin engine that has lost its compression. The core value here lies in the material science. The exhaust valves are forged from 21-4 steel, a choice that screams durability when dealing with the intense heat generated inside a combustion chamber. Meanwhile, the intake valves utilize 40cr high-quality steel. This combination isn't just about holding shape; it is specifically engineered to resist corrosion and withstand thermal stress over thousands of miles of rough terrain. If you have ever tried to run an old engine with burnt valves, you know how quickly performance degrades, making this four-piece set a critical upgrade.
The design philosophy is straightforward: replace the worn-out components with something that meets strict quality control standards. Each valve undergoes inspection before leaving the manufacturer, which suggests a level of consistency that generic hardware store parts often lack. You get exactly what you need—a pair of intake valves and a pair of exhaust valves—matching the OEM part numbers 72507-G01 and 72508-G01. This specificity means you do not have to guess if the dimensions align; they are manufactured to fit the original specifications of the 1992–2002 model year range. For the ATV owner or utility vehicle operator, this means getting back on the trail without worrying about the engine seizing up mid-ride due to a failed valve seat.

However, this product is not for everyone. If your Ezgo was manufactured outside the 1992–2002 window, or if the engine displacement differs from the 295cc to 350cc range, this kit will not work. Furthermore, it does not include piston rings, head bolts, or other gaskets that might be needed for a full overhaul. It is a targeted solution for valve failure. If you are looking for a comprehensive rebuild kit or if your engine uses a different brand entirely, this specific assembly is not the answer. It is best suited for the mechanic who knows their engine ID number and needs a reliable, long-lasting valve set to extend the life of a classic machine.
On the other side of the equation sits the Tufgo gasket, a component designed for a completely different era and application. This part is the go-to solution for owners of modern Kawasaki engines, specifically covering the FA130D, FB460V, FC290V, FD590V, and FR651V series. The primary job here is sealing. In high-performance engines like those found in zero-turn riders and commercial generators, preventing oil leaks is non-negotiable. This gasket is crafted from robust materials capable of handling extreme operating temperatures and pressures, ensuring that the seal remains intact even under heavy load. It is not merely a piece of rubber; it is a precision tool designed to maintain engine efficiency and prevent the costly damage associated with low compression or oil loss.
What sets this apart is the emphasis on precision engineering. The data indicates that it is manufactured to an exact fit, minimizing the risk of gaps or misalignment. A misaligned gasket can lead to immediate failure, resulting in reduced compression and engine inefficiency. By fitting seamlessly as a direct replacement for part number 11009-2024, it eliminates the guesswork often associated with aftermarket parts. For the user maintaining a fleet of lawn equipment or a generator used during power outages, this single component ensures that the engine stays sealed and runs smoothly. It is an essential part of any serious maintenance routine where downtime must be minimized.
This product is ideal for the homeowner or professional landscaper who values ease of installation and reliability. The design allows for straightforward installation, reducing the time your equipment spends off the ground. However, it is a single unit, not a multi-part kit. If you are rebuilding an entire engine block, you will likely need additional seals and gaskets beyond just this one piece. Additionally, its applicability is tied strictly to the Kawasaki models listed. If you are working on a Briggs & Stratton or Honda engine, this part will not fit. It is a specialized component for a specific ecosystem of machinery, making it a vital purchase for those who own the compatible Kawasaki units but useless for anyone else.
• Best for Vintage Restoration → MOTO1988 Exhaust, because it targets the specific 1992–2002 Ezgo models with Fuji-Robin engines that are hard to find parts for.
• Best for Modern Maintenance → Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket, as it covers a broad range of current Kawasaki series used in commercial and residential equipment.
• Best for High Heat Resistance → MOTO1988 Exhaust, utilizing 21-4 steel specifically chosen to handle the thermal stress of older 4-cycle engines.
• Best for Leak Prevention → Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket, engineered to withstand extreme pressure and provide a durable seal against oil leaks.
• Best for Complete Valve Replacement → MOTO1988 Exhaust, offering a 4-piece set (2 intake, 2 exhaust) ready for installation.
• Best for Precision Fitment → Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket, designed to minimize gaps and ensure optimal machine performance through exact manufacturing tolerances.
• Best for Commercial Equipment → Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket, frequently used in zero-turn riders and generators where reliability is paramount.

In my opinion, the choice comes down entirely to the engine you are servicing, as these parts simply do not overlap. If you are an ATV owner restoring a classic Ezgo cart from the late 90s, the MOTO1988 Exhaust is the clear winner because it addresses the specific wear patterns of the Fuji-Robin engine with superior heat-resistant materials. Conversely, if you are keeping a modern commercial mower or generator running, the Tufgo kawasaki Engine Gasket is the only logical choice for its precision sealing capabilities. I would buy the MOTO1988 set for the vintage project because extending the life of that older machine is more rewarding, provided the rest of the engine is sound. For anything else, the Tufgo gasket offers the peace of mind that comes with a factory-accurate seal.
No, the MOTO1988 Exhaust is exclusively for Ezgo models with Fuji-Robin engines, and the Tufgo gasket is designed only for specific Kawasaki engine series like FA130D and FB460V.
You must verify your engine model number against the list of compatible series (FA130D, FB460V, FC290V, FD590V, FR651V) before purchasing to ensure the 11009-2024 replacement fits correctly.
While the data confirms it includes a full set of four valves with strict quality inspections, installation requires standard mechanical skills to remove the old valves and seat the new ones properly.
No, the product is a single precision-engineered gasket designed for easy installation, but it does not include any special tools or additional hardware beyond the gasket itself.
