1) Do I need a doctor’s prescription for an ultrasound scan?

Prescription is not mandatory. You can directly call us or walk in for a self scan. After scanning, Radiologist will explain the result clearly to the patient. He explain the medical issues and guide you to the concerned specialist. Pregnancy and follow-up scans are usually done with a doctor’s advice.

2) How should I prepare for an ultrasound?

Preparation depends on the scan type:

Abdomen and Pelvis scan: Full bladder needed. 

Pregnancy scan: Often requires a moderately full bladder in early pregnancy

3) Is ultrasound safe?

Yes. Ultrasound uses sound waves (not radiation) and is considered safe for adults, children, and pregnant women.

4) How long does a scan take?

Most scans take 10–20 minutes. Detailed pregnancy or Doppler scans may take longer.

5) When will I get my results?

Reports are usually available soon after the scan or within 24 hours, depending on the scan type.

6) Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended to reduce waiting time, but walk-ins are also accepted based on availability.

7) Can I eat before my scan?

It depends on the scan. Some require fasting. Please confirm while booking.

8) Can I bring a family member during pregnancy scans?

Yes, one attendant is usually allowed.

9) Do you offer same-day scans?

Yes, same-day scans are available depending on schedule.

10) How do I book a scan?
