Incomplete: Students are not given opportunities to initiate interaction with other students in the course.
Aligned: Opportunities for student-initiated interaction with other students are available and encouraged.
Exemplary: The course makes a variety of tools and methods available for student-initiated interaction to accommodate a variety of communication styles.
Design activities that have student interaction built into them, so that students are interacting with each other and learning from each other. There are several ways to do this, including team projects, peer review assignments, and discussions.
