The mission of the Ohio Young Birders Club is to encourage, educate, and empower our youth conservation leaders. Each month student members can participate in fun and exciting field trips to exciting places in Ohio. In addition to field trips, members participate in service projects focused on habitat restoration and conservation projects such as building Barn Owl nest boxes and monitoring Bluebird trails.
The Mosquito Creek Chapter Is only a year In the making. But so far we have done a lot: participated In a variety of bird hikes, heard experts speak on scientific topics, helped monitor cavity nesting birds and explored Mosquito Lake by kayak. We look forward to where the club will take us next!
Be sure to check the calendar In the Events tab for the dates of our activities.
