This Privacy Policy explains how Learn French with Mosilo (package name: com.learnfr.mosilo), provided by AAGM Parlo ("Mosilo", "we", "us", or "the App"), handles information when you use the App. The App is designed to provide French-learning tools while minimizing personal-data collection.
Information stored on your device
Mosilo does not require account registration. Learning progress, preferences, streaks, scores, favorites, earned rewards, subscription entitlement status, and an optional profile name are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a user-profile server that receives this learning data. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App may remove locally stored information.
Microphone and speech recognition
Pronunciation practice is optional and requests microphone permission only when you choose to use it. Audio is sent to the speech-recognition service configured on your Android device so spoken words can be converted into text and evaluated. Processing may occur on your device or through the speech provider selected by the device manufacturer or operating system. Mosilo does not upload raw microphone recordings to a server operated by us, and we do not retain those recordings. You can deny or revoke microphone permission in Android settings and continue using other learning features.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Mosilo may use local Android notification services and Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver reminders and app messages. Firebase may process a device registration token, app instance information, and notification-delivery diagnostics. Firebase Messaging automatic initialization remains disabled until notification consent is granted. You can disable notifications at any time in the App or Android settings.
Advertising and consent
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your region, device settings, age-related settings, and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and app information, ad interactions, consent status, and diagnostics to deliver, measure, prevent fraud, and improve ads. Mosilo uses Google's User Messaging Platform where required so you can make and revisit available privacy choices.
The App may show banner, native, interstitial, app-open, and rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are initiated by the user in exchange for an in-app benefit. Premium subscribers do not receive the App's banner, native, interstitial, or app-open ads. Advertising data is processed under Google's policies. In-app purchases and subscriptions
Optional monthly and yearly Premium subscriptions are offered through Google Play Billing. Google processes payment and billing information; Mosilo does not receive or store your payment-card details. The App receives product details, purchase status, purchase token, and signed purchase data needed to verify entitlement, acknowledge purchases, prevent fraud, and restore subscriptions. Purchase signatures are checked against the Google Play Billing public key before Premium access is granted. Google Play's terms and privacy policy govern payment processing.
Information sharing and service providers
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only as needed with service providers that operate App features, including Google AdMob and the User Messaging Platform for advertising and consent, Firebase Cloud Messaging for optional push notifications, Google Play Billing for purchases, and the speech-recognition provider configured on your device. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
The App may contain links to other Mosilo applications or Google Play pages. Visiting an external service is governed by that service's privacy policy.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored learning data remains on your device until you clear App storage or uninstall the App. You can reset relevant preferences through the App or Android settings. Notification tokens and advertising data are retained by the relevant service providers according to their policies, consent choices, and legal obligations. Because Mosilo does not require an account and does not maintain a user-profile database, there is no server-side Mosilo account to delete. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Sensitive local profile values are protected with Android platform secure storage where supported. Purchase payloads are signature-checked before Premium access is granted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and third-party services maintain their own safeguards.
Children's privacy
Mosilo is a general-audience language-learning application and is not directed specifically to children under 13. We do not knowingly request a child's email address, precise location, or account registration. Parents and guardians should supervise microphone use, notification choices, advertising-consent choices, external links, and purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information directly to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
International processing
Google and other service providers may process information in countries outside your place of residence. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards and legal bases used for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when App features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will show the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through the store listing.
