Hi, and welcome to my website
My name is Morten Seitz (formerly Morten Jensen) and I am a postdoc at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Denmark.
I primarily conduct research on individuals' characteristics, including rank-and-file employees, and firm outcomes. Most of my research exploits proprietary administrative datasets from Statistics Denmark, which allows me to investigate questions that are difficult to answer with US data.
I wrote my thesis entitled “Earnings Management in Private Firms” during the period from October 2016 to September 2019 at CBS and successfully defended the dissertation in January 2020. During my time as a PhD I visited Stern, NYU, for period from September 2017 to June 2018.
