If you want long battery life and a swivel design for side sleepers, choose Morpheus 360 Krave ANC; if you need foldable headphones with a stated low-lag gaming mode, choose HyperGear Over-Ear Headphones.
For side sleepers, neither spec sheet confirms a slim ear cup or a fit designed for lying on your side, so comfort in that position is uncertain.
My overall pick is Morpheus 360 for longer listening between charges and its stated wired fallback.
• Morpheus 360 Krave ANC: Its standout strengths are up to 55 hours of listening without ANC, up to 35 hours with ANC, and ear cups that swivel 90 degrees. The trade-off: the sheet does not establish that its over-ear cups are comfortable to press against a pillow.
• HyperGear Over-Ear Headphones: The appeal is a foldable design, memory-foam ear cups, and a stated no-lag mode for gaming or video. The trade-off: its listed battery life is shorter, at up to 24 hours.
• Choose Morpheus 360 if you prioritize longer battery life, ANC, or a wired option when the battery runs down.
• Choose HyperGear if foldability and its specified gaming mode matter more than extended runtime.
The Krave ANC is the stronger fit for someone who wants fewer interruptions between charges. It is listed for up to 55 hours of playtime with ANC off, or up to 35 hours with ANC enabled. A 15-minute USB-C charge is stated to provide up to five hours of use, and the listed charge time is two hours. Those figures make it a practical option for long stretches of commuting, travel, or home listening without frequent charging.
Its ANC can be switched off when you want more awareness of your surroundings. The product information also describes an immersive 3D sound stage, Bluetooth 5.0, and a wired mode using the included 3.5 mm cable. If the battery runs out, that wired fallback gives it another way to remain useful. A carrying case is included, which suits someone who expects to pack headphones for trips.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
The swivel ear cups and protein-leather padding are useful design details, but they do not prove the Krave will work well for side sleeping. Over-ear headphones generally take up space around the ear, and the provided information does not give cup thickness or a side-sleeping design claim. I would skip it if your priority is a verified low-profile fit against a pillow. For anyone looking for the best wireless headset for side sleepers, these specifications leave the most important comfort question unanswered.
HyperGear’s case is about portability and a specified mode for keeping game or video audio in sync. The headphones fold, use Bluetooth 5.0, and include a 3.5 mm AUX cable according to the product description. Their 40 mm drivers and stated frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz give more detail about the audio hardware than the Krave’s sheet provides, although driver size and range alone cannot settle how the two sound to an individual listener.
The product information lists up to 24 hours of battery life, with a two-hour charge time. The feature description also says a quick 10-minute charge can provide five additional hours, while the headline feature summary describes a quick charge as enough for several hours. That is handy for a short charging window, but the stated overall runtime is shorter than the Krave’s. Memory-foam ear cups and an adjustable headband are listed, along with ANC and dual ANC microphones for calls.
HyperGear may suit someone who wants foldable headphones for a bag and values the advertised no-lag gaming mode. It is also worth considering if you want over-ear headphones with memory-foam cups and call-focused noise reduction. But the specifications do not say that it is made for side sleepers, nor do they provide the ear-cup profile needed to judge pillow comfort. Its listed information also does not specify a wired mode in the same way the Krave’s does, so check what comes in the package if wired listening is essential.
• Best for longer battery life → Morpheus 360 Krave ANC. Its listed maximum is 55 hours with ANC off and 35 hours with ANC on, compared with HyperGear’s 24-hour figure.
• Best for a quick top-up with a stated playback figure → Morpheus 360 Krave ANC. A 15-minute charge is listed for up to five hours of use. HyperGear’s description says 10 minutes can provide five hours, though its feature summary describes the result more generally as several hours.
• Best for foldability → HyperGear Over-Ear Headphones. Its design is explicitly described as foldable; the Krave sheet highlights swivel cups and a carrying case instead.
• Best for a stated low-lag gaming mode → HyperGear Over-Ear Headphones. That feature is specifically included in its description. The Krave sheet does not list an equivalent mode.
• Best for ANC runtime and a clear on/off choice → Morpheus 360 Krave ANC. Its information gives separate battery figures with ANC enabled and disabled, and says ANC can be turned off.
• Best for a specified wired fallback → Morpheus 360 Krave ANC. Its included 3.5 mm cable is described for wired listening, including when the battery runs out.
• Best for judging listed driver size and frequency range → HyperGear Over-Ear Headphones. Its sheet specifies 40 mm drivers and a 20 Hz–20,000 Hz range. Those figures describe components, not a guarantee of superior sound.
• Best for side sleeping → Neither is confirmed by the available details. Both are over-ear headphones, and neither sheet provides a low-profile cup measurement or a side-sleeping claim. If sleeping on your side is the deciding factor, do not treat swivel cups or memory foam as proof of pillow comfort.
Neither product’s information gives a specific spatial-audio format or a side-sleeper-focused design. The Krave’s 3D sound-stage description may interest someone looking for spatial audio on ear headphones for side sleepers, but it does not establish that it will be comfortable in that position. Similarly, HyperGear’s dual ANC microphones are relevant to calls, yet the provided details do not prove it is the best crystal clear calls headphones for side sleepers. Call noise reduction and pillow comfort are separate questions.
My Verdict
I would choose Morpheus 360 Krave ANC for its substantially longer listed battery life, ANC option, and stated wired fallback.
Those are concrete advantages for travel and long listening sessions.
For side sleepers, though, I would not call either one a sure fit: neither has confirmed low-profile ear cups.
If side-sleeping comfort is essential, I’d make that the deciding factor rather than assuming either over-ear design will work.
FAQ
Morpheus 360 lists up to 55 hours with ANC off and up to 35 hours with ANC on. HyperGear lists up to 24 hours. Actual listening time can vary with use.
Neither product’s provided specifications say it is designed for side sleeping, and neither lists ear-cup thickness or another measurement that would show how it feels against a pillow. Both are over-ear models, so pillow comfort remains uncertain.
Both list active noise cancellation. HyperGear specifically describes dual ANC microphones for calls, while the Krave’s description also refers to noise-cancelling microphones and clear communication. The supplied details do not provide comparable call-quality test results, so they do not establish a definitive winner.
Choose HyperGear if its stated no-lag gaming mode is important. Choose Morpheus 360 if you want a clearly specified wired option: its included 3.5 mm cable is described for wired use, including after the battery runs out.
