I have been working as a research assistant at the Department of Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology at the University of Alberta, Canada. My supervisor is Prof Dr. Ellen Goddard, the former president of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society and former Co-operative Chair in Agricultural Marketing and Business at the University of Alberta. My research is funded by Genome Canada. I explore the selection and adoption of genomic technology by Canadian dairy farmers. I am a member of several agricultural economics and extension societies, e.g., the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society, the Bangladesh Agribusiness Society, the Bangladesh Agricultural Extension Network (BAEN), etc.

Description: This study investigates farmers' use of dairy genomics to understand their attitudes and preferences about the level of adoption and utilization of genomics in their breeding programs. Such insights shed light on the benefits and challenges driving their decision-making processes. (Boichard et al., 2016). This study aims to gain insights into which dairy producers will adopt genomic technologies and which traits they are most interested in.

Description: The COVID-19 pandemic is a major global crisis affecting all economic sectors, including agriculture, which is the fundamental human need. In the era of technology and the lockdown in a recent pandemic, both local and foreign people collect information from the newspapers, which are available online. To satisfy the reader's demand, online blogs and newspapers and printed newspapers have taken a serious look at publicly available online articles. This research analyzed all online COVID-19 and Bangladesh agriculture articles published during this country-wide lockdown.
