I am a undergraduate psychology student with a minor in sociology at Loyola Marymount University, expected to graduate in spring of 2027. My research revolves around the queer community, LGBTQ rights, transgender people, intersectionality, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and disability justice.

Work alongside Women's and Gender Studies faculty advisor on their project focused on genetic mother blame in memiors of children with disabilities
Conduct feminist narrative research; code and annotate literature
Organize online data base of all memoirs of children with disabilities
M3 Research Lab: Research Assistant I Dec 2024 - present
Work alongside a psychology faculty advisor and eight other undergraduate students in a lab focused on ASD
Currently handling a project with one other student regarding women with autism and their eating disorders
Involves analyzing and coding interview transcripts using NVivo to eventually form it into a literature review
LA County Defining Youth Project I Oct 2024 - Nov 2024
Worked alongside two psychology faculty members to assist with a project LA County commissioned the LMU psychology department to do
Project included defining “youth” in LA, specifically disabled youth for future policy and accommodation planning
Literature review and content analysis of current disability literature and policies to create document recognizing findings
Transgender and Gender-queer People Belong in Jesuit Higher Education I Aug. 2024 - Dec. 2024
Wrote and published (first author) a research paper alongside faculty member on experiences of transgender people within Jesuit Higher Education and developed frameworks to further include this demographic into Jesuit institutions
Content analysis and literature review of current studies on transgender students and experiences

Analyzed the well-being and economic impact of being transgender in America’s workplace through content analysis of current research on transgender economic differences

Interviewed two transgender identifying professionals in academia
Surveyed and analyzed data from 30 transgender identifying employees in the US
Developed recommendations to better accommodate transgender employees using research findings
