The ELC Program is a 6-month consulting engagement that runs alongside the Ascend National experience. Morehouse students, guided by faculty and business advisors, serve as consultants — researching, analyzing, and delivering recommendations to address real-world challenges within your business while you engage in executive education.
The program is designed to:
Foster professional development and entrepreneurial leadership skills.
Provide actionable business recommendations for participating companies.
Create a structured yet flexible framework for collaboration and learning
The program runs from September through March:
Sept 19, 2024: Kickoff luncheon at Morehouse College to meet students, business advisors, and business owners.
Mid-Oct: Initial research report delivered.
Nov & Jan: Interim reviews for feedback and refinements.
Early Mar: Draft report submitted.
Mid-Mar: Final presentations to business owners, faculty, and advisors.
This Google Site serves as the central hub for the program, where participants can view upcoming sessions and deadlines, access shared resources, and upload documents to each company’s folder.
After the Friday (September 19) In-Person Kickoff, the folders below will include the business owner’s challenge statement and any supporting materials.Â
Business advisors are responsible for scheduling one-on-one meetings with students, and business owners are required to meet with students and advisors three times: at the challenge kickoff, midpoint check-in, and final presentation in March.
