Moon Calendar — Privacy Policy

Moon Calendar is developed by Polyariz. This page explains what data the app

collects on Android and iOS, and how it is used. We do not sell your personal

information.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

For the app to function correctly, the following data is collected:

1. Location (approximate and precise).

The app uses the device location to compute astronomical events

(sunrise/sunset, lunar day, twilight, etc.) for your area, and to resolve

the locality name through the system geocoder. Location is processed

on-device for calculations; on Android it is also handled by Google Play

Services, on iOS by Apple Core Location. You can deny the location

permission and enter the location manually.

2. In-app analytics events.

We collect anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics — which screens are

opened, which settings are changed, which links are tapped on the About

page, and when the subscription paywall is opened. This helps us

understand which features are used and improve the app.

3. Device and analytics identifiers.

Firebase Analytics uses the Firebase Installation ID to attribute events

to a single app installation. On Android it additionally uses the Android

Advertising ID (AAID); on iOS it uses the Identifier for Vendor (IDFV).

The AAID is used SOLELY for analytics and app-functionality purposes —

the app does not show advertisements, does not perform cross-app tracking,

and does not share AAID with advertising networks. The app does NOT

request the iOS Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does NOT show an App

Tracking Transparency prompt. These identifiers are anonymous and do not

directly identify you. AAID can be reset or deleted in your Android

device's Privacy settings.

4. Approximate geographic region.

Firebase Analytics derives an approximate country / region from your IP

address for aggregated reporting. Your full IP address is not stored.

The app integrates the following third-party services:

We do not share your data with parties other than those listed above.

HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA

Analytics events are retained by Firebase for up to 14 months and then

automatically deleted.

Purchase records are retained for the lifetime of your subscription and

as required by accounting and tax obligations.

CHILDREN

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly

collect data from children.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is

always available on this page.
