Welcome to MoodTalks (“we”, “our”, or “us”). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the MoodTalks mobile application (“App”).
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
MoodTalks does not require you to create an account using email, phone number, or social login.
If you choose to provide optional information, it may include:
• Display name or nickname
• App preferences and settings
This information is stored locally on your device unless stated otherwise.
• Messages you send in the App are processed to generate AI responses.
• Chat history is stored locally on your device by default.
• Messages are securely transmitted to third-party AI service providers only to generate replies.
We do not allow third-party providers to use your data for advertising or for training their models beyond providing the service.
To improve app stability and performance, we may collect limited non-personal information such as:
• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• App version
• Basic usage events (for crash reporting and performance)
This data is used only for app functionality, analytics, and improvement.
MoodTalks uses:
• Apple In-App Purchases (iOS)
• Google Play Billing (Android)
• RevenueCat for subscription management
We do not collect or store payment information. Payments are handled securely by Apple or Google.
We receive limited subscription status data, such as active or expired state, to enable premium features.
We use information only to:
• Provide and operate the App
• Generate AI chat responses
• Manage subscriptions and premium access
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Comply with legal and platform requirements
We do not sell personal data.
We share data only when required to operate the App:
• AI service providers for chat response generation
• Subscription and billing service providers

We take reasonable steps to protect your information using standard security practices. However, no system is completely secure.
You are always in control of your data.
• You can delete all app data at any time from Settings > Delete Account.
• This removes chat history, preferences, and resets the App.
No email request is required to delete your data.
MoodTalks is intended only for users 18 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If such data is identified, it will be deleted.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated policy.
