2. Local Storage and Data Retention
To support your ongoing budgeting features—such as tracking your expenses, updating your payday schedule, checking categories (Food, Transport, Bills, Rent, etc.), and managing your tracking streak milestones—the Application stores information locally on your device.
Local Sandboxing: All records are written using standard localized device containers (such as SQLite database files or internal platform preferences). This information never leaves your device.
Complete Data Purge: You have total sovereignty over your budget records. You can instantly delete all entries and history at any time by navigating to Settings → Clear all data.
3. Device Permissions and Localization Settings
The Application requests zero sensitive or invasive device permission controls (such as precise location, camera, or contacts access). Any interface configuration choices—including your chosen language preference (English/Sinhala) or local currency indicator (Rs. LKR)—are applied and retained purely on the device level.
4. Third-Party Links
The Application functions without connections to programmatic ad-networks or commercial third-party web portals. Legal and compliance materials displayed inside the application are packaged and stored within the application's compiled assets, executing without unencrypted online server calls.
5. Zero Financial/Loan Services
CashGist is strictly an offline tracking journal and calculator tool. The Application does not provide, broker, facilitate, or offer loans, commercial credit, micro-finance resources, or payment processing channels. No real-world financial accounts are connected or manipulated via the application interface.
6. Revisions to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this operational text to remain fully compliant with app store marketplace criteria.
