My Favorite Things!

I LOVE this new tray from Montessori Services! It's perfect for art pencils, or even a teacher's writing tray.

I created larger examples of the characters on cardstock and the children loved this activity.

How about something other than a big basket for those work rugs? This works really well! Stack the rolled rugs in the holder and you are good to go.

Cut apart the primary colors and you have a great set for open-ended painting and color mixinf

These last forever! I pop them out of the tray and put each in a small glass dish (they look so nice that way). Keep three on a tray for open-ended art and color mixing.

Rip off sheets for the easel or my favorite first day of school activity...body drawings! Roll out the paper for the children to lay on, trace them, and they fill in their details.

Supervise always! These needles are large and not sharp. They are perfect for beginning stitching exercises with yarn and burlap.

This item got A LOT of use in my classrooms. Start seeds in the paper post and plant them, the paper biodegrades!

These are a must and at a great price too! Hammering nails is a popular work and children really do need eyprotectionon.

Floor puzzles are the best for rainy days!

The rough texture of these can be great for children with sensory integration issues and ADHD. Stick one underneath the edge of the table for the child to use.
