Montclair Local: Woman Dies After Crash in Montclair, Prosecutor’s Office Investigating

"Mini Cooper hit with police blocking the road at 3 PM. Seemed to be a hit and run since driver and police were pointing down the street in the direction towards downtown." –Witness via crash report form

Around 2 PM, Glen Ridge police officers arrived at the scene. It appears that three vehicles were involved in the crash. A fire hydrant was open and spraying water, possibly as a result of being struck. There was what appeared to be a car bumper on the sidewalk near the hydrant  – Witness

Around 6:15 PM, a car was performing a K-turn when it was struck by another vehicle. The impacted car then rolled slowly off the road and into a vehicle parked in a driveway. One of the cars was not drivable and had to be towed from the scene.  – Witness on Grove St.

"Yesterday, at my kids' bus stop, a lady ran through the bus arm / stop, then realized she ran it and slammed on the brakes next to the bus. The guy behind her who was not slowing down for the bus arm either slammed into the back of her car. I stayed as a witness. This was 9 AM.
