Our Services

Spa Manicure

A classic spa manicure in Prahran, Melbourne. Your nails are cut and shaped, buffed smooth and finished with a polish colour of your choice. It suits anyone who wants neat, natural nails without enhancements. Prefer something quicker? Ask for our cut, shape, buff and polish for hands. French polish is available as an extra.

Pedicure Spa

Give your feet some attention with a pedicure spa. Toenails are cut, shaped and buffed, then finished with your choice of polish. A popular booking before holidays, weddings and the warmer months. If you only need a tidy-up, we also offer cut, shape, buff and polish for toes.

Shellac Manicure

A full manicure finished with glossy shellac gel colour that stays chip-free far longer than regular polish. Already wearing shellac? We can take off the old colour and apply a fresh one in the same appointment. If you only want colour, ask for just shellac on hands.

Shellac Pedicure

A full pedicure finished with shellac gel colour on your toes, so the shine holds through shoes, sand and everyday wear. We can remove your old shellac first and redo it in the same visit. Just shellac on toes is also available.

Manicure and Pedicure Packages

Hands and feet looked after in one sitting. Choose the combination that suits you: pedicure spa with manicure in regular polish, shellac manicure with a regular pedicure, regular manicure with a shellac pedicure, or our special with shellac on both. A good choice before an event or a trip, and for friends who want to book side by side.

SNS Dip Powder Nails

SNS powder dipping gives you strong, lightweight colour with a smooth finish. Choose an SNS overlay on your natural nails, or SNS with tips when you want extra length. Add a French or colour French finish, or a shaped nail in coffin, pointy, almond or long. When it is time for a change, we soak off your SNS and finish with nail hardener, or take it off and redo a new set in the same visit.

Acrylic Nails

Acrylic nails for length, strength and shape. Choose an overlay on your own nails, a full set in colour or French, or a full set finished in shellac. Keep them fresh with a refill in regular polish or shellac. Coffin, pointy, almond and long shapes are available. When you want them off, our soak off includes nail hardener to care for the natural nail underneath.

Builder Gel (BIAB) Nails

Builder gel adds strength to your nails while keeping a natural look. We offer colour builder gel, or clear builder gel finished with shellac colour. Both are available on your real nails, as a full set, or as a refill. Add an almond, pointy or coffin shape, extra length, or a French tip. A good option if you are growing out your own nails.

Nail Art, Ombre and Chrome

Add something special to your set. Choose ombre nails for a soft fade of colour, chrome nails for a mirror-like shine, or a custom design. Nail art can be added to your shellac, SNS, acrylic or builder gel service, and extra colours are available if you would like three or five shades across your set. Bring a photo of the look you have in mind.

French Tips and Nail Shapes

French polish can be added to a manicure or pedicure, and French or colour French is available on shellac, SNS, acrylic and builder gel sets. Coffin, pointy, almond and long nails are available as an extra on acrylic, SNS and builder gel. Tell us the shape and length you want and we will file every nail to match.

Nail Removal and Soak Off

Safe removal of shellac, SNS, acrylic and builder gel. Our soak off for shellac, SNS and acrylic includes nail hardener to help protect the natural nail afterwards. Having a new set applied? We offer take off and redo options in one appointment. Please let us know what you are currently wearing when you book, so we allow enough time.

Nail Repair

Broken, chipped or lifted nail? Book a nail repair and we will fix the nail so it matches the rest of your set.

Face Waxing and Eyebrow Tint

Facial waxing for ladies: eyebrow re-shape, upper lip, chin, sides or a full face wax. Eyebrow tinting is also available to add definition to your brows, and pairs well with an eyebrow re-shape. These short appointments are easy to add to a manicure or pedicure.

Body, Bikini and Brazilian Waxing

Body waxing for ladies. Arms: under arms, half arms, three-quarter arms or full arms. Legs: lower leg, upper leg or full leg. Bikini line, G-string and Brazilian waxing are also available. What is the difference between SNS, acrylic and builder gel?

SNS is a dip powder applied over your natural nail or a tip. Acrylic is sculpted from liquid and powder and is a common choice for longer extensions. Builder gel is a thicker gel that adds strength while keeping a natural look. Not sure which one suits you? Tell us about your nails and how you use your hands, and we will help you choose.

When is the quietest time to visit?

For the most relaxed experience, book between 10:30 am and 2:00 pm, before the afternoon rush.

What if I am not happy with my nails?

Please tell us before you leave the salon, or contact us within seven days, so we can put it right.

Is there parking near MONSTERA Nails & Spa?

Yes. There is a paid car park right next to the salon, and plenty of free 1-hour and 2-hour street parking within a 5 to 10 minute walk of 11 King St, Prahran.
