When we say advertising our website on yours, we mean adding any material of branding on your website. For example: Our logo, name, or even just speaking about us. Make sure that you ask for permission and have granted permission before adding any advertising materials, or retaliation will take place against you.

Why is this so serious?

If you do add materials like our logo without permission, your website will automatically be reported to the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) and will be taken down unless actions from the website owner takes place, such as removals of all advertising materials. Even if you did not intend to advertise, it does not matter. It will still be considered as advertising.

It does not matter, it is your responsibility to proceed with research before adding any branding material. What will happen if I do not remove the branding material from my website? 

It is simple, your website will be requested to the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) to be taken down. It is your responsibility to abide by our policies, especially our copyright infringement policy.
