Monkton Arts, a small Arts Centre in the backstreets of Ryde on the Isle of Wight is asking people in 'Monkton Village' to adorn their windows with artistic creations to create a VILLAGE GALLERY!
We feel that this old area of Ryde which is a little hidden and away from the main town centre is a special place; home to a huge amount of creative and wonderfully surprising people from so many different demographics and cultures.

To help form and bind our community together and to help it become a more visually interesting place to live, we have a number of Village Gallery projects in the pipeline. All of them involve putting something in your window or outside of your house to create a Village Gallery!
