We feel that this old area of Ryde which is a little hidden and away from the main town centre is a special place; home to a huge amount of creative and wonderfully surprising people from so many different demographics and cultures who all have their stories to tell. Community is people coming together and to do that you need to talk to that familiar face you walk by and to do that you need something to say, so knowing a little bit about them can start that conversation!

We organised a Monkton Fringe Street Party in Sep 2019, which saw stalls, music, clowns, art, spoken word and lots of community fun!
