How to improve website readership through social media?
I suggested company founders to add SP's Twitter handle in the website code; so when someone shares an article on Twitter from the website, it links back to SP's Twitter handle.
I also suggested them to activate SP's Google+ channel (it was famous back then), and add a link back to SP's website for improved readership + to increase fan following.
How to link social media profiles on the website?
I suggested a change in how Khelnama's social media channels are positioned on the website.
I also activated Khelnama's Google+ Page, and requested proper linking of it from the website .
How to turn an idea into a fully-functional website / brand?
I played a small part in designing CS's website navigation and user interface design when the website was in the early development phase.
I also helped in deciding / finalising website's name and its logo.
I suggested these changes to the founder, the editor, and the web developer.
How to prepare a franchisee's official website for a new season?
I reviewed KXIP's official website as part of the preparations for IPL 2015.
I submitted an Excel report on website content, spelling mistakes, players info and stats, etc.
I even curated players' pictures to be put up on the KXIP website, keeping new sponsorship partners in mind for players' jersey.
I also suggested proper naming and categorisation of website content + proper arrangement of navigational tabs to the web developer upon the request of the manager to make the website interface easy and user-friendly.
How to better prepare a website for running social media ads?
I reviewed WCW's official website in order to understand the kind of traffic we were attracting by running social media ads.
I suggested to add Facebook Pixel code since we were doing social media advertising.
I also suggested to add Google Analytics code to get a clear picture of the traffic coming from the ads.
The Facebook Pixel code wasn't added to the website when I asked, although Google Analytics code was there.
How to build authority fast for a new website via content writing?
I reviewed OneCricket's official website to prepare it for monetisation at one point in future.
Since website was well-built and beautifully designed, there was nothing additional input to suggest.
But the website was lacking interviews in the content mix; so I suggested to add that, which was later done by the content team.
Since no screenshots were taken, there is nothing evidential to present here in visual form.
The Excel sheet includes details of the website content errors and missing information, and sharing would mean a breach of company contract; hence, no sheet either.
Regarding SP, Khelnama, CS & OneCricket, all the changes were made during my work tenure at the respective companies.
Regarding the KXIP website, I never heard back from anyone about the report and the suggestions made; so, I am unable to say whether something was even done in reality based on my report.
For the WCW website, the founders didn't confirm whether Facebook Pixel code was added or not. The website was redesigned from scratch which was planned beforehand during my tenure at the company.
Going forward, I would be interested in co-creating more engaging and informative websites with easy navigation; even from scratch with respective design and web development teams / individuals. : )
