Sentiment analysis around IPL 2015 on KXIP's social media following, in a limited setting
Noticed a direct link between team's on-field performance vs. mood of the fans on social media channels, especially on Facebook and Twitter
As I was handling day-to-day activities for KXIP on social, the shift was obvious to notice; however, the scope was limited given nobody asked me to do it in the first place
Since no screenshots were taken, so there is nothing evidential to present here in visual form.
I mentioned about the change in weekly reporting, and we did some changes in the social media publishing calendar based on the insights.
The change in content strategy did well, and we achieved a neutral-to-positive sentiment shift as a final result (earlier it was negative and abusive).
Going forward, I would be happy to do a more deeper analysis of social media fans' sentiment towards a brand. : )
