Privacy Policy for MoneyGo

MoneyGo is a personal finance application designed to help users track income, expenses, accounts, categories, budgets, goals, statistics, and transfers between accounts.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, how it is stored, and how users can control their data.
1. Information We Collect
MoneyGo does not require users to create an account with us and does not collect personal data on our own servers.
The app may store the following information entered by the user:
- income and expense transactions;
- transaction amounts, dates, notes, categories, and account names;
- account names, currencies, and account colors;
- category names, icons, income goals, and expense limits;
- app settings, including language, font size, PIN lock settings, and iCloud backup settings;
- voice input text when the user chooses to add a transaction by voice.
This information is used only to provide the app’s finance tracking features.
2. Local Data Storage
Most app data is stored locally on the user’s device using Apple system storage technologies.
The user’s financial data remains on the user’s device unless the user enables or uses iCloud features.
3. iCloud Sync and Backup
When iCloud backup or synchronization is used, data is stored in the user’s personal iCloud account and handled by Apple’s iCloud services.
MoneyGo does not operate its own cloud server for storing financial data.
Users can manage iCloud access through iOS Settings.
4. Voice Input and Speech Recognition
MoneyGo may include a voice transaction feature. If the user chooses to use voice input, the app may request access to the microphone and speech recognition.
Voice input is used only to recognize transaction information such as amount, category, income, or expense.
The app does not use voice input unless the user starts the voice feature.
Speech recognition may be processed by Apple’s speech recognition services depending on the user’s device and iOS settings.
5. App Lock and PIN
MoneyGo may allow users to protect the app with a PIN, Face ID, or Touch ID.
The PIN is stored on the user’s device. Face ID and Touch ID authentication are handled by Apple’s secure system APIs.
MoneyGo does not receive or store biometric data.
6. Data Sharing
MoneyGo does not sell user data.
MoneyGo does not share user financial data with advertisers, analytics providers, or third-party marketing services.
User data may be shared only when the user chooses to export or share a backup file using iOS sharing features.
7. Data Export and Import
MoneyGo may allow users to export and import backup files.
Exported backup files may contain transactions, categories, accounts, currencies, goals, limits, and app settings.
The user is responsible for where they save or share exported backup files.
8. Third-Party Services
MoneyGo relies on Apple services, including:
- iCloud;
- CloudKit;
- Face ID / Touch ID;
- Speech Recognition;
- iOS file sharing and export features.

9. Children’s Privacy
MoneyGo is not directed to children under 13.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Data Deletion
Users can delete app data by:
- deleting transactions, categories, or accounts inside the app;
- using the app’s delete/reset features if available;
- deleting the app from the device;
- managing or deleting iCloud data through iOS Settings and Apple iCloud settings.
If data is synchronized through iCloud, deleting local app data may also affect data on other devices connected to the same iCloud account.
11. Security
MoneyGo uses Apple platform security features to help protect user data.
However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should protect their device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and backups.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted with a new effective date.
