Aslabs ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Aslabs Money Manager mobile application ("App"), which is registered under the package name com.aslabs.moneymanager.
By downloading and using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
We prioritize user privacy and operate a privacy-first, 100% offline structure. All your financial records, transactions, accounts, and budget allocations are stored strictly locally on your physical device using secure local SQLite storage (Room Database). We do not host or maintain any centralized servers, and your financial data is never transmitted to us or any third parties.
1.1 Personal Data
The App does not require user registration or account creation with our servers. You may customize your experience with local profiles, including setting an avatar image and username, which remain exclusively on your device.
1.2 Google Drive Backup (User-Initiated)
The App includes an optional, user-initiated feature allowing you to back up and sync your local database using your own private Google Drive account. When you connect your Google Drive account, the backup file is transmitted directly and securely from your device to your private personal storage folder. We do not have access to your Google credentials, authorization tokens, or backup files.
1.3 AdMob Services and Third-Party SDKs
To support continuous development, the App implements Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process anonymous, pseudo-anonymous, or device-specific identifiers to deliver personalized and non-personalized advertising.
The third-party service providers used by the App include:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob (AdSense)
These providers may collect information used to identify your device, such as your IP address, Android Advertising ID (AAID), browser type, and usage statistics. For details on how Google uses data, please refer to Google's Privacy & Terms at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
2. SECURITY OF DATA
The security of your personal and financial data is of paramount importance. Since all data is stored locally, it is protected by your device's native operating system security. We encourage users to protect their devices with strong PINs, biometric authentication, and screen locks. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
3. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
4. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

Aslab Developer Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile application "Aslab Secure Vault" (referred to as "the App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our mobile application and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Information Collection and Use
Aslab Secure Vault is engineered as an offline-first application.
- We do not run cloud backend servers.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal or financial data.
- All ledger entries, transactions, budget profiles, subscriptions, roommate split sheets, and settings are stored locally on your device within its secure private sandbox directory.
2. On-Device System Permissions
To facilitate localized features, the App requests access to:
- Biometric hardware (USE_BIOMETRIC) to safely unlock the locally stored app interface using your fingerprint. No biometric markers are stored by or visible to the App.
- Local Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) to alert you regarding recurring subscriptions, budgets approaching threshold limits, or local backup schedules.
3. Third-Party Services & Telemetry
The App does not integrate any third-party telemetry, behavioral analytics, user-tracking software, or advertising SDKs.
4. Data Retention and Erasure
Your financial records remain entirely in your custody. Wiping the App's storage, uninstalling the App, or using the "Clear All Data" sequence in the Settings tab will permanently and irreversibly purge all local data records from the device. We do not keep historical cloud copies.
5. Data Portability (Clipboard Exports)
When you choose to backup your ledger, the App serializes an obfuscated text payload to your system clipboard. You are solely responsible for protecting this backup data.
6. Children's Privacy
Because we collect zero information, the App does not collect any personally identifiable information from children or anyone else.
