ABOUT ME

Momina is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Civil (Environmental) Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She is having a strong research and academic background with added experience in publishing more than 16 quality research papers in the renowned journals in the field of Water and Wastewater management has shaped her vision to pursue a research career where the results would address health, environmental and social issues to solve the existing challenges and bring an impact to society that are sustainable and environmentally responsible. Apart from academics, she is having keen interest in gardening, teaching financially under privileged students and is an ailurophile.

Prof. Kafeel Ahmad

Kafeel Ahmad is presently, Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Hony. Director (Research), Jamia Millia Islamia. He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers (FIE), India and Chartered Engineer (CE) India. He is graduated in Civil Engineering and post graduated in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He obtained his Ph.D. (Environmental Engineering) degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Dr. Ahmad has 19 years research and teaching experience. He has supervised seven PhD thesis and 27 M.Tech dissertations. He has published 92 papers in national /international journals and conferences. He has 1421 citations of his research work with H-index 11. Dr. Ahmad is Casual Reviewer of more than 25 reputed international journals of environmental science and engineering. He has also specially designed and authored a book on environmental science and engineering for competitive examinations. He has provided consultancies in different areas of environmental engineering, such as design of ETPs/STPs, development of solid waste management plan and air quality modeling as well as efficacy and adequacy of ETP/STP/ECS/Air Pollution Control Systems etc.
