Graduate Student Mathematics Conference at Montana State University
This is a conference intended to bring together mathematics graduate students from Montana and beyond. This will be the inaugural event held at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT. The conference will feature lectures by our plenary speakers, as well as short contributed talks by graduate students.
The conference will be held October 10-11, 2026. Registration is now open! The deadline to apply to give a talk is September 10, 2026.

We will be unable to fund anyone, but we have a lot of talks dedicated to graduate student speakers. The conference will be a friendly environment, so feel free to register even if you've never given a talk. We will consider both expository and research talks from all areas of pure and applied mathematics.
Math of Montana will be hosted at Montana State University's campus in Bozeman, MT.
If you plan to fly, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) is the relevant airport.
Alternatively, as this is intended to be a regional conference with limited funding, you may consider driving/carpooling with other students directly from your university.
Bozeman has many hotels, with options in the downtown neighborhood in close walking distance to campus.
