myDOC

myDOC is an medical app meant for smartwatches.

Have you ever had a relative maybe a grandparent who has an illness such as diabetes and you need to continually monitor their vitals so as to ensure they are taking their drugs right?

myDOC helps family members do this remotely.

GOAL OF THE PROJECT

1) Good visual appeal

2) Design of clear directions

3)Good checkout flow

4)Easy to use.

5) Able to specifically point out problem to patient and caregiver

DESIGN PROCESS

My design process consisted of

• Empathize

• Ideate(user flows,user stories, Problem statements)

• Wireframing

• PROTOTYPE

• Test/Iteration/Usability study

To empathize  i had to research the kind of customers that will use the app. Research results grouped the users into 2 personas which are as follows:

1) Name: CHINEDU

Age: 21; City: Lagos; Family: Husband, 4 children and a Grand mother; Occupation: civil servant.

Challenge: Knowing the state of his diabetic and hypertensive grandmother's health when he is at work.

Goal: 

• To be able to know his grandmothers blood pressure and blood sugar level.

• To be able to call emergency services and share her location if need be.

2)Name: YEMI

Age: 27; City: Lagos; Family: SINGLE; Occupation: civil servant.

Challenge: He has migraine episodes and would love to know when his serotonin level is dropping so that he can take his medication and avoid another episode.

Goal: 

• To give clear updates as to his serotonin levels
