The Molecular Parasitology Lab is involved in the study of clinical isolates with a view of translational approach from bench to bedside. The project involves the study of clinical samples of Plasmodium species (viz) Plasmodium vivax and Plasmodium falciparum in collaboration with Dr. Pradipsinh Rathod from University of Washington in Seattle (USA), Dr. Manoj Duraisingh from Harvard Medical School of Public Health in Boston (USA) and Dr. Sanjeeva Srivastava from IIT Bombay in India.
