Moka Efti was an entertainment complex in interwar Berlin. The complex opened its doors in 1926 and was run by the Greek merchant "Giovanni" Eftimiadis. In 1933, a second club, Moka Efti am Tiergarten, opened. Both clubs were closed during the war and the premises were later destroyed following the bombing of Berlin. However, the club's history has been given a revival through the television series Babylon Berlin (2017).
Moka Efti club plays a central role in the German television series Babylon Berlin. In the series it's owned and managed by a shady individual called The Armenian.
Unfortunately for reasons that are not entirely clear he was found dead near his residence.
The Armenian left a written will in which in the event of his death he would leave the entire Moka Efti club to his favorite dancer known as Katniss
