If you want a rugged, bass-forward companion for long trail runs and gym sessions with rapid recharging, choose mojawa Run Plus Bone; if you need a flexible, titanium-framed device specifically engineered for underwater swimming and lightweight endurance, choose RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming.
• mojawa Run Plus Bone: Its biggest strength is the combination of deep bass technology and ultra-fast charging (5 minutes equals 80 minutes of play), making it ideal for high-intensity training; its trade-off is that it lacks the memory titanium frame found in swim-specific models, relying instead on a standard silicone build.
• RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming: It excels with a flexible memory titanium frame that bends without pressure and offers the latest Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity for superior range; however, its battery life is slightly shorter at 7 hours, and it requires a full 1.5-hour charge cycle to refill.
• The Verdict on Fit: Pick the mojawa if you are prioritizing audio depth and quick top-ups during active sports like hiking or running, while the RELAXYO is the superior choice for serious swimmers who need a frame that survives constant bending and submersion.
The mojawa Run Plus Bone is built for the athlete who refuses to compromise on audio quality while staying aware of their environment. This headphone utilizes proprietary Haptic technology paired with an Original Physical Bass Strengthen Technology and a Dual Suspension Anchor System. The result is a listening experience that delivers deep, rich bass and melodious mids, which is rare for open-ear devices. If you are someone who needs motivation from your music during a grueling workout, this model ensures you get that boost without blocking out traffic signals or teammates.
For the hiker, this unit stands out as one of the best open ear headphones for hiking because of its secure fit and safety features. The open-ear design keeps your ears completely free, allowing you to hear nature and potential hazards while enjoying podcasts or audiobooks. With a weight of just 0.31 kg and a design that fits comfortably with helmets and glasses, it eliminates the fatigue often associated with heavy headsets. The IP68 waterproof rating means you can rinse it after a muddy trail run or use it in heavy rain without worry, though you must ensure the product is dry before operation.

However, you should skip this model if your primary goal is competitive lap swimming where flexibility is paramount. While it is fully waterproof and can withstand being submerged two meters underwater for two hours, the instructions explicitly state you must switch to MP3 mode and disable the touchpad before entering the water. The lack of a memory titanium frame means it does not have the same structural flexibility as dedicated swim gear, potentially making it less comfortable for those who need to bend the headset around a swim cap repeatedly. Additionally, while the battery life is solid at 8 hours, the charging time is longer than some competitors, requiring a full 50 minutes for a complete charge unless you rely on the quick-charge feature.
The RELAXYO Bone Conduction Swimming is designed first and foremost for the aquatic athlete. Its most defining feature is the memory titanium frame, which allows the headphones to conform to the natural shape of the ear without causing pressure. This material is incredibly durable yet flexible, meaning you can bend the frame to ensure a secure fit under goggles or a swim cap, and it will return to its original shape without damage. For anyone who spends significant time in the pool, this durability and comfort profile makes it an essential piece of gear.
This device also caters to the user who wants the absolute latest connectivity standards. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.4, it provides a connection range of over ten meters in barrier-free environments, offering a more stable link than older versions. The controls are straightforward, utilizing only three buttons to manage power, volume, track skipping, and call handling, which simplifies operation even when wearing gloves or wet hands. With 32GB of internal storage capable of holding up to 7,000 songs, you can leave your phone behind entirely and take your entire library into the water by switching to MP3 mode.
That said, the RELAXYO might not be the top pick for someone who prioritizes extended battery life above all else. It offers 7 hours of continuous music playback, which is sufficient for most workouts but falls short of the mojawa's 8-hour capacity. Furthermore, the charging process is slower; it takes 1.5 hours to reach a full charge compared to the faster turnaround options available elsewhere. If you are looking for the best headphones for hiking or general land-based cardio where speed of recharge matters more than underwater flexibility, this model's 1.5-hour wait time could feel like a bottleneck. It is also worth noting that the warranty period is listed as one year, whereas other premium sport headphones sometimes offer two-year coverage.

In my opinion, I would buy the mojawa Run Plus Bone for my daily routine, especially if I were planning a trip focused on outdoor exploration. The combination of superior bass, an 8-hour battery life, and that incredible 5-minute quick charge feature makes it the most practical choice for someone who moves between different activities throughout the day. It feels more robust for the rigors of land-based sports like hiking, where you need reliable audio that won't cut out and charges fast enough to keep up with your schedule. However, if your primary passion is marathon swimming and you need a frame that can flex endlessly without cracking, the RELAXYO is the only logical choice. For the average enthusiast seeking the best open ear headphones for hiking and general fitness, the mojawa simply hits the sweet spot of performance and convenience.
