I am an economist currently working as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics at the University of Southampton and serving as an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of Essex.

My research focuses on financial economics, macroeconomics, monetary economics, international economics, and development and growth. I apply econometric and network-based methods in my research to investigate issues related to financial and economic stability, with an emphasis on understanding the structural dynamics that drive systemic risk and resilience in interconnected economic systems, both at the national and international levels.

My research and teaching are closely connected. I particularly enjoy teaching econometrics and quantitative methods, which are central to my analytical approach. I also teach core areas such as macroeconomics, monetary economics, and financial economics, where I integrate theory, empirical evidence, and policy relevance.

Since part of my research also focuses on the micro-origins of economic and financial systems, both in domestic and international settings, I am also well-prepared to teach microeconomics and international economics.
